• CHECK THE HORSE FOR ANY NICKS OR ABRASIONS ON THEIR LEGS AND FEET
• WATCH THE MOVEMENTS OF THE HORSE CAREFULLY Horses can tell a lot about themselves through their actions such as the way their ears fold back and the way the tilt their head so pay attention to these types of actions in your horse!!
• PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION TOO THE WAY THEY SLEEP There is a very serious killer among horses, known as collic. When a horse is infected with this disease they become very sleepy and never wake up eventually leading to death.
